Like most girls her age, Rita finds herself dating a 500-pound greaser who's consumed by existential dread. Like most adult men their age, Sonny and Snuggs just regard the proceedings with detached bemusement.
The age comment: so sonny and snuggs are around the same age, i take it; but what about the greaser? he seems older as well, or is the swirly comment the age-defining moment?
also how can we be sure sonny and (mainly) snuggs arent just jealous and hiding it behind a vale of cynicism O.o?
The greaser's in high school, too. He's just a pituitary case. Snuggs is definitely masking some insecurities, but I imagine Sonny is rarely in need of female companionship. The man's a cool cat.
