UPDATE: I CONTINUE TO SUCK

Sorry to the both of you for the lack of update the last couple of weeks.  I've been taking a short hiatus to work on creating backgrounds with a more distinctly stylized 50s-style animation look about them.  It's slow going, but at least this feels like a more productive form of procrastination than my usual means.  God willing, this strip will someday look less like it was created by some jerk on a Macbook.

Proctor and Ramble

Arthur Miller's play may be an incisive look at the contemporary issues of his day, but it's a real snooze if you're looking for an exciting story about witches and the preachers that hate them.

The 2015 Bean Counter Week-Before-Halloween Special!

Snuggs' Halloween loot is probably full of hidden needles and poison, but not because he put it there. He just lives in squalor.

Tree Thugger

Teddy the greaser always manages to be equal-parts understanding and terrifying.

A Bad Waste of a Good Entrance

For the record, this is the second time Snuggs has burst into the Museum of Inscrutable Art. It was awkward last time, too.

As I Stay Lying

And we finally get to meet Snuggs' bourbon-swilling dad!  To get the full impact of the character, one must imagine his voice sounding a bit like Foghorn Leghorn's.

Big Head Blues

If my comic ever garners even the slightest critical appraisal, I solemnly swear to immediately become unbearable to everyone around me.

Actual Work Means No Comic, Guys!

Um, I kinda had to do some actual manual labor on the day I reserve for drawing the strip, so as a result I couldn't get the update out this week. But I'm trying to make penance by posting two strips next week. Of course, I have a history of not following thru on anything ever, so here's some old site headers to create the illusion of updated content.

Hypewriter

Eleanor feels how I do when I explain my comic to people. Speaking of which, happy 100th strip, everyone! There's no reference in the strip itself, of course, because it would seem a bit self-congratulatory for a webcomic with two readers. But still!

Back to Stripping

After a month-long breather, the Bean Counter is back and just as adequate as ever! And if you think a plot about Snuggs going to the movies isn't a sure sign of a rejuvenated strip, well.. uh..
